China Southern Cargo hosts 10th Anniversary Ceremony in Chicago

On August 24th, China Southern Cargo hosted a grand ceremony in Chicago to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its freighter service into the United States.

Global logistic companies and forwarders such as DHL, Schenker, Expeditors and UTI, ground handling providers for China Southern Cargo, as well as representatives from truck companies and airport authority have attended the ceremony.

2011 is the 10th anniversary of China Southern’s freighter service into the U.S.. During these ten years, its freighter frequency increased from 2 to 10 weekly, and the destinations are extended to 3, contributing to a 370% increase of annual cargo volume.

At the Ceremony, China Southern Cargo introduced its freighter service network, cargo products, the advantages of B777F, and the Tang System—the Cargo system of China Southern. It also gave awards to the top 5 cargo agents for their outstanding contribution and expected their continuous support to China Southern.

It is the first time that China Southern Cargo held this kind of ceremony overseas. Over these years, China Southern Cargo has built credibility and gained more market share in the U.S.. China Southern Cargo said that this ceremony offered a great opportunity to communicate with its customers and business partners, thus strengthened the cooperation as well as enhanced the brand image of China Southern in the U.S. market.
